MSP Issue Thousands Of Citations Over Holiday Weekend

PIKESVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland State Police issued almost 4,500 citations over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

According to police, there were approximately 3,227 traffic stops and 350 repair orders. Fifty-six impaired drivers were arrested.

Police say there were 14 wanted people arrested on criminal warrants, as well.
