WEATHER BLOG: August Is Here

For those who are planning their weekend activities, the upcoming one doesn't look too kind to us.

>We are still keeping an eye on how things will evolve over the next few days and trying hard to figure out where these clouds should have a silver lining.

It has been no big secret that we've received no real model consensus for the weekend. Most solutions have been split, especially on timing-related issues.

Between the domestic computer models and those which are issued by Europe and Canada, it is often in situations just like this that we tend to lean on that model that has provided us with the most consistency. We're confident that Friday, even though clouds will be more of a player than they have the past few days, shower and thunderstorm activity will be scattered in nature. Most of it will be occurring during the afternoon and evening hours.

Highs will be in lower and middle 80s.
