MRI Reveals Light Sprain To Machado's Knee
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The Orioles got the night off on Tuesday thanks to the weather. The time off let the Orioles prepare to move forward without Manny Machado and assess his injury damage.
Machado hurt his right knee against New York on Monday. An MRI reveled a light sprain, which is good news since it's not torn. The Orioles will decide Wednesday if Machado will head to the disabled list.
An update is also expected on JJ Hardy; who had an MRI done on his injured thumb. Tuesday night's game will be made up during a day-night doubleheader on Sept. 12.
