
ASPEN HILL, MD (WJZ) — One woman was killed and two firefighters were injured after a fire ripped through a home in Aspen Hill.
Around 4:35 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a fire at a home in the 4600 block of Iris Street. An 81-year-old woman inside was rescued and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but later succumbed to her injuries, according to Montgomery County Fire Chief Steven E. Lohr.
