POTOMAC, Md. (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton is scheduled to appear a fundraiser for Democratic Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, who is running for governor in Maryland.

The Washington Post reports invitations were sent to Brown’s supporters Friday for the Sept. 30 event, which will be held at a private home in Potomac. Tickets start at $1,000 per person.

Former President Bill Clinton headlined a fundraiser for Brown in May. Organizers say that event generated about $1 million for Brown’s campaign.

Hillary Clinton has said she expects to make a decision next year about running for president again in 2016.

Maryland Gov. Marin O’Malley also is considering a run for president. A spokeswoman for the governor says O’Malley plans to attend the Sept. 30 event with Clinton.

Brown is running against Republican Larry Hogan.
