Fans Roar As Orioles Take One Step Closer To The World Series

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—The Orioles prove once again they won't stop. And hours later, O's fan excitement is still in the air.

Tracey Leong reports cheers can still be heard all around.

Just like the O's, fans won't stop celebrating.

Hours after the Orioles defeated the Tigers 7-6 in game two of the ALDS, the town remains filled with those fanatics who are still flying high from the big win.

Waving their orange towels, chirping cheers of joy, O's fans can't stop, won't stop.

"We sealed the deal. It was incredible," one fan said.

"It was the craziest thing I have ever seen. I went to the game in 2012 for the Yankees game, and it was way louder than that it was. Nuts," a fan said.

Even when the birds were down, bird fans never got their feathers ruffled.

"Knew they were going to come back. They are the O's, man. This is October. This is how it works," a fan said.

Camden Yards was overflowing with Orioles magic.

"Felt like I was at a Super Bowl or something. It was awesome," a fan said.

"Something magical about this team, something I can't explain; it's just a great time," a can said.

There was love in the air. One couple got engaged in the ballpark.

"We've been going here for three years and this is just our yard; that's why it's black and orange," the engaged couple said.

While Sunday's game won't be in the bird's nest, these fans are all predicting one outcome.

"I am expecting a win," one fan said.

"O's win, brrrrrrr, go O's," said another.

"The O's are going to take it to the World Series! Wooo!" a fan said.

"We are not going to stop. We are going to win this. We won't stop," a fan said.

We can still hear the cheering all over town. It's just a magical evening that they hope will fly into Sunday's game for the win.
