O's Fans Still Believe Their Team Will Win Game 4

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- After postponing game 3, O's fans were ready and out in full force to root on their team Tuesday night. While the game didn't go the Orioles' way---again---fans are confident Wednesday's game four is the day things will change.

WJZ's Meghan McCorkell has all the excitement.

Orioles fans packed into Pickles Pub near Camden Yards and say this team is resilient and there's no denying they'll bounce back for the win.

Devoted fans taking swings at Extra Innings Baltimore all believe in the Orioles.

"Been in since day one. This season has been a good ride, and we won't stop," Will Hook, Extra Innings trainer.

"We're gonna bring it home," said one woman.

It's a shared feeling by all inside the Extra Innings facility, including manager Darrion Siler.

"As a city we kind of deserve it," said Siler. "It's been a long time since we've been there, and I think a lot of people are really counting on them."

WJZ-FM 105.7 The Fan hearing similar excitement.

"I think the big thing is they never give up," said Al Bumbry, a former Oriole. "They play together as a unit."

"If we manage to get it back to Baltimore, it's going to be over for the Royals," another fan said.

Dedicated athletes and fans believe the birds will fly back.

Hook added, "shows them anything is possible, just because you're down doesn't mean you're out."

Players at Extra Innings say the Orioles are also inspiring the next generation of athletes.

"To see them playing well, makes them want to get out there and actually do it, try and be like them, idolize them and get into it," Hook said.

"Those guys were the guys you looked up to and they were the ones making the big home runs and throwing the shut-out plays," Siles said.

Standing behind the O's, who've always motivated them to reach for the sky.

"Something to root for, something to aspire to, to look up to," Brewster added.
