Jimmy Patsos Previews The 2014-2015 College Basketball Season

Jimmy Patsos , head college basketball coach of Sienna College, joins The Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn and Femi to discuss the upcoming college basketball season. Jimmy Patsos was in Baltimore today for the 4th Annual Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation College Season Tip-Off. Jay Bilas, ESPN broadcaster and game and studio analyst for college basketball. Patsos says, "Bilas is a great guy.  He is a great announcer and really knows the game." Bilas is a two-time Emmy nominee for Best Studio Analyst and, in 2010, was named Best Game Analyst by Sports Illustrated.

Scott let Patsos know its Steelers week and he asked how Patsos was feeling about the game. "I pretty much spent the day watching last week's game. I hope they can get the Steelers.  This is the big one."  He talked about how is was a shame that the Ravens had a 2nd extremely close game against Cincinnati, and unfortunately, lost again. The Ravens lost by a touchdown in week 1 and lost by a heartbreaking field goal last weekend.

Patsos likes football but he is most excited for College basketball. "Basketball season is here. That's what I'm ready for." Kentucky Wildcats have been rated NO.1 in Preseason Power Rankings once again. When asked if he agrees with this, Patsos says, "I have a funny feeling about this Wisconsin team." Although Kentucky is a team to watch out for, Patsos believes Wisconsin will be in the running. He also said, "I think the Terps have a really good group.  I'm excited to see how they play, but the team I think is going to win it, I like Wisconsin."

Men's college basketball season kicks off Friday, November 14th.
