Steve Davis: Pro Bowl Ballots Are Out

The voting doesn't end until mid-December, so you have plenty of time.

I doubt this will be a banner year for the Ravens, but they will definitely get some Pro Bowlers. In order, I will give you who seems to be the most deserving.

Elvis Dumervil is on pace for his 4th Pro Bowl and first with the Ravens. He has 10.5 sacks, which puts him on pace for 17, and would break the Ravens record of 15 by Peter Boulware. Right now, he is second in the NFL, so if he keeps it up, he should go.

Haloti Ngata has put to bed any talk that he is over the hill. He is playing great. That fumble he forced vs. Tennessee changed the course of the game. He should make his 6th Pro Bowl.

Pro Football Focus grades Marshall Yanda as the best guard in the NFL. Pencil him in for Pro Bowl #4.

C.J. Mosley may be just a rookie, but he is 8th in the league in tackles, has a couple of interceptions, has forced a fumble and recovered one. He is the favorite to be Defensive Rookie of the Year and has a good shot to make the Pro Bowl.

After that, it will be tough.

Justin Tucker is having another great year, but he has missed 3 field goals.

Justin Forsett has been the unsung hero and best off-season pickup, but there are some backs having great year. He has the highest average per carry at 5.5, but is 7th in rushing. He might sneak in, but it will be tough.

I think the first four are sure bets, the next two are iffy.
