WEATHER BLOG: Rain & Wintry Mix On Its Way

Hi Everyone!

Let me just go right to the bottom line;

Rain at times late tonight. Then a wintry mix begins in the morning. That wintry mix will transition to all snow on Wednesday early afternoon, and there should be 1-3" of slush in Baltimore by 10 P.M. Greater amounts 3-6", and 6"+ are likely well to the North, and West of the city.

And that is about it. This will be a gigantic pain in the neck.

We will see bigger Winter events this season but what make this one "bad' is the timing. The biggest travel day of the year. I am confident road crews will have the neighborhoods passable by dinnertime, whenever that time is for you, on Thursday. The roads won't be great, and you will need patience, (and you will need to use some common sense driving), but this won't totally ruin the holiday. But as I said this will be a gigantic pain in the neck. (Can we spell neck b-u-t-t-?)

Thanksgiving day itself will be quite sunny, but breezy with a high of 42.

Join us online through the day for any updates. I don't think we will see huge changes in the forecast, but some adjustment may occur.

I need a beach.
