City Officer Shot In the Line Of Duty Released From Hospital

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ)--A Baltimore City police officer shot in the line of duty is out of the hospital.

Officer Andrew Groman was shot in the stomach last month in Northwest Baltimore.

Pictures of his fellow officers show them saluting him as he left the hospital on Friday.

The incident happened during a traffic stop.

Donte Jones, 19, has been charged in the shooting.

Groman is a three-year veteran with the force.
