Baltimore Ice Rink Hosting Special Olympics Fundraiser
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Baltimore ice rink has rescheduled a fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Maryland.
The Waterfront Partnership Ice Rink at Baltimore's Inner Harbor was supposed to host SkateFest 2015 on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., but it's been rescheduled until Wednesday.
For a $5 donation, participants get admission to the rink and skate rental for two hours. All proceeds from the event benefit Special Olympics Maryland. The ice rink says there will be music, giveaways and refreshments during the event.
The rink is generally only open until 6 p.m. Monday, but SkateFest will extend the rink's hours.
