As expected, southern Maryland was the “bullseye” for the winter event that occurred this morning. Callaway, MD picked up nearly 2″ of snowfall while BWI picked up a trace. Below is a look at some of the snowfall reports from across the region this morning. The air will dry out this afternoon and evening and we will be seasonably cold overnight with lows in the 20°s. Some sunshine will return tomorrow with highs around 40°. Plenty of sunshine is in the forecast for Friday and Saturday. By Sunday, we expect to warm-up to near 50° with a chance of rain (mainly south and east).
