A Possible New Arena For The City Of Baltimore

Kevin joined Ed and Steve to talk about the prospects of a new arena for the city of Baltimore in the Pier 6 area.

Kevin started by talking about the idea of the project saying "this proposal is brand new and it's being shopped around to some of the really key stake holders and officials." As for the actual arena Kevin said "the plan is for a new 15-16,000 seat arena...a combination indoor and outdoor venue." When asked about the likelihood of the proposal coming to fruition Kevin said "well I think the possibility of a new arena or renovated arena has to happen if they don't you won't be able to attract big shows or sports franchises in the future." Kevin sighted how the idea of a waterfront arena has never been offered before so that could come in to play in the final decision making.
