Baltimore Considered Good Bet In Housing Market

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A new report shows that the real estate market in Baltimore is one of the most affordable in the nation.

This is due to several factors, including an increasing number of starter homes and relatively affordable prices.

It's more affordable to buy a house in Baltimore than in many other places in the nation, and more affordable to buy a house here now than it was a year ago.

According to Rockville-based RealEstate Business Intelligence, median sale prices fell 1.7% in 2014, but sales increased 26.7% in 2014.
