Ed Norris: Coach Belichick Your Pants Are On Fire!

During a conference call Bill Belichick claimed that the first he heard about the deflated footballs was Monday morning.

Hmmmmm... let me get this straight... Colts linebacker D'Qwell Jackson picked off a Tom Brady pass and noticed that the ball felt a little flat. He notifies his coaching staff, Colts' head coach Chuck Pagano notifies the officials who then notify the NFL.

Keep in mind that this all happens during the game, yet we are to believe that the Patriots' head coach was the only person at Gillette Stadium who had no idea that this was alleged.

Whether the balls were deflated intentionally is one issue and probably one we won't get an answer to anytime soon. The bigger problem to me is the fact that I am asked to believe that the head coach of the New England Patriots had no idea that any of this was going on. Bill, we're not that stupid. Your answer isn't plausible.
