3 Hurt In South Baltimore Crash Involving MTA Bus

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore fire department officials say three people were injured after a car crashed into a Maryland Transit Administration bus.

The car collided with the bus Friday evening near West Patapsco and Lily Avenue. Three people in the car were trapped and had to be extricated.

The three people from the car were taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center Shock Trauma unit and were listed in serious condition.

The cause of the collision was under investigation. It was not clear if weather conditions had a role in the crash.
