BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)–Authorities in Baltimore County are investigating two separate shootings that left two people dead over the weekend.

Police say the first incident occurred just after 10:00 p.m. Saturday, on the 1200 block of Deanwood Road, where a woman was found lying in the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

She was transported to Sinai Hospital Trauma Center where she died from her injuries, authorities said.

Early Sunday morning just after 5:00 a.m., police say they responded to the Regal Inn located in the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway for a reported shooting. At the scene, authorities say they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

The identities of both victims are still unknown at this time. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
