Jeremy Conn: The Super Bowl From Hell
Most fans are asking themselves, "Who do I root for?" These are my 2 least favorite teams and I was in turmoil all week long trying to figure out who to pull for. I hate the Patriots more than any other team in football and the Seahawks are not far behind them.
When you look at Seattle, you might dislike all of the trash talking from the defense, but they can definitely back it up. I for one can't stand Pom Pom Pete and his sideline antics. We all know what went on at USC and he bailed on them, leaving them high and dry to face sanctions that should have directly led right back to him. Maybe you don't want to see a back to back winner of the Super Bowl.
With the Patriots its easy to dislike them. They are very successful. They went to 9 AFC Championships and are now playing in their 6th Super Bowl. It's easy to dislike teams that are successful especially if they have knocked your team out of post season play. It's more than that, it's everything that happened with Spy Gate and now Deflate Gate. Of course the national public will dislike anything that involves cheating.
In my opinion, I'll be rooting against the Patriots, not necessarily for the Seahawks. I believe I'm taking the lesser of two evils...
