Fired Rabbi Freundel Refuses To Leave His Synagogue-Owned Home

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) -- A rabbi and professor at Towson and Georgetown University refuses to leave his synagogue-owned home.

Barry Freundel is accused of secretly videotaping women in a ritual bath.

Now the Board of Kesher Israel Synagogue is trying to evict him from the Georgetown home it owns.

He was fired from the synagogue, but lawyers say he was told he had until March 1 to leave.

Freundel faces six counts of voyeurism.
