Ron Sirak is the Executive Editor of Golf World, a Senior Writer at Golf Digest, and a published author.

Ron joined Ed and Steve to recap the Waste Management Phoenix Open Golf Tournament.

Ron started off by talking about Tiger coming in last at the WM Phoenix Open saying “he’s lost all confidence in his short game…he had a couple of chips where he’d be 10 yards off the green and he just kind of putts the ball up there.” As for what the biggest factor in Tiger’s downward spiral is Ron said “I think there has just been a perfect storm of things leading to his fall…4 surgeries on that left knee and now a back surgery, and the incident was an embarrassment for him.” Ron also talked about how Tiger is 39 and no athlete is the same at 39 as they were in their 20’s, but Ron still hold out hope for Tiger to regain a decent form.
