Pat Kennedy Reflects On The Life Of Legendary Coach Dean Smith

Pat joined Ed and Steve to reflect on the life of legendary college basketball coach Dean Smith.

Pat started off by reflecting on what he thought of Dean Smith as a coach "I think there are 5 giants and geniuses in our sport...Coach Smith is one of them, his strategies and the things he would teach, he kept re-inventing the way Carolina played basketball." Pat then went on to talk about all the different innovations that were made by Dean Smith that still exist in college basketball today. When asked about the relationship between Dean Smith and Coach K Pat said "those guys were fierce competitors, there was a whole different demeanor when they were going against each other."
