Jeremy Conn: What's The Terps Ceiling?
The Terps had their most impressive win this season on Tuesday night against the Wisconsin Badgers.
The Badgers were the #5 team in the country at the time and on a win streak. I've stated on the air that I wasn't big on the court storming, I think the Terps are better than that, but it was a huge win.
Many people believe the Terps can be a 3 seed when tournament time rolls around, but in my opinion they would have to win out and win a game or 2 in the Big Ten Tournament. Or go 2-1 and make a run in the Big Ten Tournament.
I think they end up with a 4 seed when the Big Dance starts.
They have 2 of their last 3 games on the road. So it will be tough to run the table in my opinion. I do think the Terps can make some noise come tournament time, but it's always about match ups in basketball.
The way to win come tournament time is with a great back court and the Terps clearly have that. Melo Trimble has been playing fantastic of late and the Terps will go as far as Trimble and Wells take them.
