Should Adam Jones Have A Say?

Baltimore Orioles Outfielder Adam Jones posted some questionable tweets earlier in the off-season about how the Orioles had gone about their off-season and lets say their lack of signings. With General Manager Dan Duquette's reply yesterday, Scott and Terry discuss whether the Gold Glove winning Centerfielder should have a say in how the team is run.

Scott took an old fashioned stance to the whole situation and believes that the hierarchy is in place for a reason. "I think Buck is the guy who delivers the message on behalf of the players, but I'm no sure I want Joe Flacco telling Ozzie Newsome or Adam Jones telling Dan Duquette, what moves to make in the off-season."

Terry believes at times there is a good reason for a General Manager to go talk to his players. "If there is a guy you're going to sign, and you know one of your guys played with that guy and you say 'Hey can I talk to you for a minute about a player. I'm not saying we're signing him, I'm just saying people are looking at him. We're trying to do our due diligence, you played with the cat give me the skinny on him.' That is one thing."
