Fatal Crash Shuts Down Reisterstown Rd.

REISTERSTOWN, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County police are investigating a fatal crash off Resiterstown Road Monday afternoon.

According to police, the accident occurred near Pleasant Hill Road just after 2 p.m. and involved two vehicles.

Police say a silver Chevrolet Impala was traveling south on Reisterstown Road approaching Pleasant Hill Road. A black Nissan Altima was traveling north on Reisterstown Road. The Altima crossed the center line and struck the Impala head-on.

The Impala’s driver was taken to Sinai for treatment. Her current condition is unknown.

The driver of the Altima was declared dead at the scene.
