Dr. Phil Interview With Nick Gordon Becomes Intervention

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Dr. Phil interview turns into an intervention. Wednesday on the Dr. Phil Show, Bobbi Kristina Brown's partner breaks down---and that's not all. Nick Gordon walked out of the interview several times as Dr. Phil questions his sobriety.

Mary Bubala reports.

On January 31, Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was found unresponsive and is now on life support. Her father, Bobby Brown, has reportedly not allowed Bobbi Kristina's partner, Nick Gordon, to see her.

In his first TV interview, Nick Gordon admits he's been drinking and taking anxiety medication before he sat down to talk to Dr. Phil with his mother by his side.

"I've been drinking," Gordon said. He admitted he isn't sleeping and says, "I miss Krissy and Whitney so much."

Several times throughout the interview, Gordon says he's done talking and walked out---but time after time, he returned.

"I just can't lose Krissy, I just can't. Pray for her. I've been praying for her; I wake up in the middle of the night," he said.

Dr. Phil brought in specialists from a rehab facility in Georgia and Nick Gordon agreed to in-patient treatment for prescription drug and alcohol abuse---but he's worried about what happens if Bobbi Kristina wakes up. The rehab facility is three hours away from Atlanta.

"My name will be the first she calls," he said.

According to Dr. Phil, he is currently at the Willingway Treatment Center in Georgia. There's no word on how long his treatment program will last.
