Freezing Rain Advisory In Effect

Baltimore (WJZ)-- A freezing rain advisory is in effect for areas north and west of Baltimore city until noon today.

Although the initial advisory included the city of Baltimore and other surrounding counties -- it was later cancelled.

Ice could accumulate a trace to a few hundredths of an inch. Light freezing rain is expected to spread across the area this morning before changing to all rain by this afternoon.

Periods of freezing rain or freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and use caution while driving.
