BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A U.S. Airways flight from BWI Thurgood Marshall to Phoenix was forced to turn around after takeoff tonight.
Airport officials say a bird struck the windshield of the plane.
The flight landed back BWI without incident.
U.S. Airways is working to get the passengers onto a different flight to Phoenix.
No one was injured during the incident.
