Sports Rehab: Keith Cavanaugh Talks Lady Terps Headed To The Final Four
Keith Cavanaugh from the Terrapin Times joined Sports Rehab to talk about the Maryland Women heading back to the Final Four, basketball recruiting, and Spring Football.
For the second consecutive year, Brenda Frese has the Maryland women in the Final Four. The Lady Terps defeated Tennessee 58-48 Monday night in Spokane, WA to clinch their spot in Tampa. The win means that Maryland will face defending national champ UCONN on Sunday in Tampa.
On the basketball front, we all know that 5 star recruit Diamond Stone has verbally committed to Maryland. Stone will compete in the McDonald's All-American game Wednesday night along with two members of Brenda Frese incoming class. "Stone is a big get for the Terps" said Cavanaugh "He'll have a bonafide playmaker to get him the ball and he automatically upgrades the frontcourt play."
