Woman Accused Of Shoplifting Arrested After Hiding In Ceiling For Hours

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- A shoplifting suspect hides for hours in the ceiling of a grocery store.

It happened at the Giant food store in the 4600 block of Wilkens Avenue.

Police say a woman was seen shoplifting. She tried to run away, climbing into the area above the ceiling.

The store was closed for the safety of customers while police searched for the suspect.

The suspect was located more than seven hours later and taken into custody.
