The Top 5 Sports Callers of the week is a weekly installment from CBS Local Sports that will bring you the wildest callers from across the nation.

Number 5: In this week’s episode we start with Frank from Queens who called in to Steve Somers on WFAN to praise the man that he calls “El Magnifico”, New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez.

Number 4: Checking in at four is Cam from Taunton who joined Felger and Mazz on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston to give the guys a calendar check.  He’s tired of hearing talk about the NFL in April. 

Number 3: The number three caller this week was Kevin calling in to The Cook and Poni Show on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh to give his thoughts on Steelers WR Antonio Brown’s contract situation.  The hosts disagree.

Number 2: The two spot goes to Chris from Philly who hopped on with Mike and Ike on 94 WIP in Philadelphia because like many Eagles fans, he isn’t impressed with Chip Kelly in his new GM role with the team. 

Number 1: Finally, the top spot is Jerry from Sacramento who called in to Grant Napear on 1140 AM KHTK to discuss the A’s-Royals throwing at batters heads issues from last weekend. Jerry thinks it’s part of the game, check out Grant’s response.
