LINTHICUM, Md. (WJZ) – A Baltimore City public school teacher was arrested and charged for possessing and distributing child pornography.

According to Anne Arundel County Police, 50-year-old Dan Kevin Scott of the 300 block of N. Hammonds Ferry Road in Linthicum was found to have images of child pornography on his computer.

Scott is a teacher at Patterson High School in Baltimore City.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Child and Vulnerable Adult Abuse Unit learned of Scott’s activities during an investigation. A search warrant was issued on his home on April 10, 2015.

Detectives took his computer equipment and found apparent images of child pornography.

Scott was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography and distribution of  child pornography.
