3 Injured When Car Slams Into State Police Car

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)—Multiple people including an on-duty state trooper were injured following an accident on Rt. 50 near West Street in Annapolis Saturday afternoon.

According to authorities, a driver lost control of their vehicle while attempting to change lanes on Rt. 50.

As a result, the driver slammed into a parked Maryland State Police car along the left shoulder of the road with an officer inside, police said.

Authorities say three people including the officer were hospitalized, their injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
