Under Armour Pulls 'Band of Ballers' Shirt From Shelves After Receiving Criticism

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- After receiving criticism over a T-shirt's design, Baltimore-based Under Armour has pulled the 'Band of Ballers' from its shelves.

The company released a statement via Twitter on Saturday:

Some criticized that the "Band of Ballers" shirt is offensive to servicemen and the military, reducing their efforts during World War II. The shirt depicts the iconic image of a group of servicemen raising the U.S. flag on Iwo Jima, but Under Armour's version-- it's a group of basketball players raising a hoop.

What do you think about the shirt?
