Police ID Man Arrested After Barricading Himself Inside Milford Mill Home

PIKESVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- We now know the name of the man arrested after barricading himself inside his ex-girlfriend's home.

Wayland Clay, 51, of Illinois faces multiple charges, including burglary and assault.

Police say Clay was armed with a gun when he holed himself up inside a Milford Mill home Friday in the 3900 block of Princely Way.

His ex -- the homeowner -- came running out when police arrived.

Clay eventually came out and gave up.

He is being held on $750,000 bail.

No one else was in the home after the woman ran out.

Clay has also been charged with breaking into the same home on May 23.

He is being held on $250,000 bail in that case.
