MLB Network’s Bill Ripken checks in with the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to discuss the Orioles recent struggles. The birds are in the midst of a 4 game losing streak and it seems like everything possible is going wrong for the Orioles. Billy gives his thoughts on the teams struggles. “It seems to be one of those things that there seems to be one bad inning or one bad pitch, whether it’s pitch selection or hanging, it almost seems when you’re watching them right now that they’re in a close game and they forgot how to win that game. It just seems like they’re going through and they’re waiting for something bad to happen where last year they would be in a game like this and it seemed like they would make something good happen. It just seems to be happening on the reverse right now.”

When it comes to figuring out why the Orioles have been under performing Bill can’t figure it out, but he still has faith in the O’s. “I can’t put my finger on it, but when this division starts playing each other again and if they can figure out something where they make a break or get a break. They win a game against a division foe and start to turn this thing around. I still look at this team as the best team in the American League East but the problem is they just haven’t been playing like it.”
