ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- A group of stranded jet skiers is rescued from the water in Anne Arundel County.

It happened around 7 p.m. at Sandy Point State Park--after severe weather moved through the region.

Natural Resources Police found a man in the water yelling for help.

He alerted police after being pulled to safety that four more people--two adults and two juveniles--were still in the water.

The other stranded jet skiers were rescued and taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Police say all five people were wearing life jackets at the time of the incident.
