Labs Exposed To Live Anthrax Increase
BALTIMORE (WJZ)- The investigation into accidental Anthrax shipments expands.
Now, more states say they received live samples.
Labs in Pennsylvania and Rhode Island say they were also sent a live batch.
That brings the total to 19 states and 66 labs, including the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, part of the Aberdeen proving ground in Maryland.
The U.S. Army facility that sent the samples say they attempted to kill them before shipment, but it did not work.
So far, no one has become sick.
