1 Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Truck

TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County police are investigating after a truck struck and killed a pedestrian.

Police say officers responded to the crash at Dundalk Avenue near Baltimore Avenue just after 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Police say a 1999 Ford truck was traveling south on Dundalk Avenue when the truck hit a pedestrian walking along the shoulder of the roadway.

The pedestrian, identified as 76-year-old Jack Roland Walther, was taken to a hospital where he later died.
