A cold front that has been draped across the region over the past few days will linger around today, allowing for showers and heavy thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Temperatures today will once again be hot and humid, topping out right around 90. If BWI-Marshall hits 90, it’ll make for an official heat wave.

This boundary will begin to push back northward by Sunday, This will increase the chances for a shower or storm this day with humid conditions and temperatures in the 80s. This will continue into Monday.

The boundary will be close by on Tuesday, so a shower or storm cannot be ruled out on this day either. Temperatures will rebound back into the upper 80s with some sunshine. Wednesday looks like a nice day with sunshine and clouds as the boundary sags south again. Temperatures will be in the 80s this day as well. Unsettled conditions will return for the end of the week as a cold front approaches.
