Jerry Crasnick On The Hacking Scandal Involving The St Louis Cardinals

Jerry Crasnick covers the MLB for ESPN and ESPN.com and writes a column for Baseball America.

Jerry joined Ken and Steve to talk about the new scandal involving the St. Louis Cardinals hacking into the Houston Astros database.

Jerry started off by talking about the hacking scandal for the St. Louis Cardinals saying "there's a federal investigation going on with the FBI and the Justice Department...it's a pretty serious situation and the question will be is it a couple rogue employees or does it go up the chain more." As for what kind of information the Cardinals may have been trying to get from the Astros Jerry said "it may have been something to embarrass Jeffrey Luhnow...I do think there is a bigger picture story here that teams have access to a lot of stuff on their database." Jerry also talked about the MLB All-Star game and how it decides home field for the World Series and whether that should change or not. Jerry also talked about the Orioles and sending Wei Yin Chen to the minors in a move to help with roster space.
