ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — Three teens were arrested and given juvenile citations after police say they allegedly attempted to rob a woman.

Police said a woman was in her car at Chester Avenue near Third Street when the teens surrounded her vehicle.

She believed they were going to rob or carjack her because the boy standing closest to her car door was holding a baseball bat and pounding it into his hand.

Officers initially responded to the area because of reports that youth were laying in the roadway and jumping on vehicles.

One 15-year old and two 12-year old boys were arrested and charged Wednesday.
