BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Parking in Baltimore has always been an issue, but now commuters looking for city-owned garages can apply for a spot and pay for it online.

Commuters are able to go onto the designated city website to view garages that have monthly contracts and can put themselves on the garage wait list.

In the past, commuters had to call or drop off applications.

Large institutions with multiple employees will also be able to manage their accounts, allowing them to add and delete the number of parking spots along with setting up payments.

This is the 2nd online parking tool that the Parking Authority has made available, in hopes of making parking easier.
