BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A 26-year-old man was charged after police say he threatened to kill his former girlfriend.
The incident happened on June 12 in the 2400 block of N Ellamont Street.
Police say Renul Forbes threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend through text messages. Authorities say Forbes then drove to the woman’s house dressed as a police officer and armed with a hand gun.
Police say an argument ensued and the victim called police fearing for her life.
Forbes was charged with assault and a handgun violation.
He is currently being at the Baltimore City Central Boooking Intake Facility.
