BALTIMORE (AP) — Officials in Baltimore have welcomed 40 new citizens with a special naturalization ceremony on the Fourth of July.

The director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Baltimore district administered the Oath of Allegiance to the group on Saturday during a ceremony at The Engineers Club in Baltimore. The group comes from 27 different countries including Bangladesh, Russia, Jamaica and Kyrgyzstan.
