WEATHER BLOG: Fourth Of July Forecast

All eyes are on the Fourth of July forecast for today as a shortwave trough approaches from the west. Latest trends are indicating that we will indeed have a few showers and perhaps a t-storm earlier in the day, but dry out just in time for fireworks. The wettest period looks to be from 6AM to approximately 3-4pm this evening. There will be plenty of clouds around, but there may be a peek or two of sunshine by early evening. Temps will range from the low-mid 70s by the afternoon. Heights will rise on Sunday, and it will be a wonderful day with a good amount of sunshine along with warmer temps in the low/mid 80s.
