Jim Henneman On His New Book About Sixty Years Of Orioles Baseball

Jim Henneman is a long-time journalist who has written a book about the Orioles.

Jim joined Ken and Steve to talk about his book '60 Years Of Orioles Magic'.

Jim started off by talking about what area he thinks the Orioles need to improve on at the trade deadline saying "I think there is an obvious need down the road for a real lead-off guy...Manny has done a great job but he's not a prototypical lead-off guy." As for if he thinks the O's will make a big move at the deadline Jim said "I would be shocked if they do any kind of major deal, they'll make deals but nothing major." Jim also talked about some of the stories out of his book including how the Orioles first came to Baltimore after their ballpark burned down, and how the team started to play great around the end of World War II.
