'The Wire' Cast Reunited In Baltimore To Uplift Community
BALTIMORE (WJZ)--The cast of HBO's The Wire reunites for a special performance right here in Baltimore on Saturday.
Cast members including Dominic West, Michael Kenneth Williams, Wendell Pierce and Felicia 'Snoop' Pearson reunited for a day-long celebration of the resiliency of the people of Baltimore.
The event was called "Wired Up! A celebration of the spirit and power of the people of Baltimore" was designed to inspire, engage and uplift the Baltimore community.
The free event was held at the Lyric Opera House and included a 30-minute original piece based off of April's unrest in the city.
