Mayor, Interim Comm. Promote Upcoming Safety Forums In East Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Interim Police Commissioner Kevin Davis visit neighborhoods in east Baltimore on Sunday to promote upcoming public safety forums.
The forums are designed to let community members voice their concerns and improve relations between law enforcement and residents.
Last year, more than 2,000 residents participated in forums throughout the city.
Officials say they compile the feedback and use it to shape policy.
The mayor and commissioner plan to host a similar forum in every police district.
