Man Arrested After Striking Patron In Face With Beer Bottle

FREDERICK, Md. (WJZ)—A Frederick man is arrested after police say he struck a bar patron in the face with a glass beer bottle.

It happened around 1:37 a.m. Sunday at JoJo's Restaurant and Bar located on Patrick Street in Frederick.

Police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Byron Speak.

The victim suffered a severe cut to their face and transported for their injuries

Speak was arrested and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
